Do I need approval before bringing my pet? In short, yes you do. We proactively encourage all prospective residents to be open with us about their intentions to own or existing ownership of a pet or pets. Some of our Residents have a regular pet-sitting arrangement with friends and family, which is also useful for us to know about. We pride ourselves on open communication, honesty and transparency with all prospective and existing residents and pet owners at The Botanic. Are there pet size/breed restrictions? The Botanic is currently offering independent living options only.  Residents at The Botanic have organised a full range of groups, clubs and activities within the village.  For some of the activities they may ask for a small contribution.  This is usually when someone from outside of the village has been organised to come in to provide a service, for example: an art class. Do I need to pay for cleaning? The Botanic arranges for the exterior of the buildings, including windows, to be professionally cleaned every six months at no extra cost to you. However, residents are responsible for cleaning the interior of their own properties.  Is my deposit refundable? Yes it is.  We ask for a $5000 deposit to secure a villa or apartment. Your deposit will be held in a trust account by Anchorage Trustee Services and is refundable if you don’t go ahead with the purchase of a property at The Botanic.  Do I get a resident discount at The Clubhouse Café?
