Our amenities include state-of-the-art fitness facilities, a 20m swimming pool, tranquil walking pathways, a relaxing library, a bowling green, Community Gardens and The Clubhouse Café. More amenities, including a golf simulator, are in development.
Moving and staying connected to nature helps us to retain strength and stamina, revitalise our souls, and support our health and wellbeing. And all of this is available on your doorstep at The Botanic.
The Clubhouse Café
The Clubhouse Cafe is the central hub for social gatherings at The Botanic and is popular with residents and the wider Silverdale community.
It is open every day serving barista coffee, a la carte offerings and delicious fresh cabinet food to eat in or takeaway.
The architecturally-designed building has a large outdoor decking area, professional kitchen facilities, and a fully stocked bar.
Our professional Café team host private functions for Residents, and can accommodate community and business events, as well as private functions.
Poolhouse & Gym
The Botanic’s fitness amenities include a 20m indoor heated swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room and a sizeable, fully-equipped gymnasium.
Yoga classes and Aquacise are also hosted in this area.
The Poolhouse and gymnasium look out across garden to the Bowling Green, providing a nature-rich vista for our fitness-focused residents.
Community Gardens
The Community Garden sits at the heart of the village and is a resident-led project producing high-quality fruit and vegetables.
Central to the gardens are two 26m2 ‘Winter Gardenz’ glasshouses, a native timber pergola, and 24 individual planter boxes. Viewed from above, the planter boxes take the shape of a silver fern.
The central area is surrounded by an edible orchard of fruit trees and vines including persimmon, citrus, feijoa, fig, grape, berries, stone fruits, apple, and avocado.
The Community Garden has a committee, and it is wholly run by residents for residents. In the warmer months, residents are free to host friends and family for barbeques in the Community Garden.
Bowling green
The bowling green is positioned alongside The Clubhouse Café and is a championship standard three-rink bowling green with a covered pavilion. Refreshments are always close at hand!
The green is a synthetic ‘Greengauge’ woven carpet which was developed for the challenging Southern Hemisphere environment and is designed to be played all year round. It is heat resistant and anti-glare to provide our residents with the best playing experience.
The Hub
The Hub is our multi-purpose activity space and accommodates many of our social groups, arts and crafters, musicians, and fitness groups.
Some of the classes held at The Hub include Armchair Yoga, Christian Home Group, Art classes, Mahjong, Strength & Balance, Travel Club, the Whiskey Appreciation Group, and the Ukulele club. These are all resident-led groups, created by residents, for residents.
